Everton are certainly struggling a little bit when it comes down to form as the Toffees continue to put in a number of inconsistent performances when playing in the Premier League.

Indeed, Rafa Benitez’s side have been able to put in solid performances against the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea recently, although they were embarrassed by Merseyside rivals Liverpool at Anfield. Some fans will have wished they stayed home and checked out Americancasinosites instead.

Of course, that display put the pressure right on the Spaniard but that will have not been hard for fans to latch onto given their reaction to him and his links to the Reds when he first arrived.

There is an argument to suggest that the manager has not had the ability to make his own mark on the squad in regards to transfers, with just a few arrivals having been made to Goodison Park.

Nonetheless, it would seem that he is looking at a player that former manager, Carlo Ancelotti, was rumoured to be interested in: Everton Cebolinha.

The winger had decided to move out to Benfica from Gremio in a deal worth £18 million instead, however the 25-year-old has fallen out of favour with Jorge Jesus recently. He has managed to play in 25 games with 14 having been starts, scoring four goals and providing five assists despite sitting on the bench recently for an extended period where he might have well played jeux machine a sous instead.

However, it would seem the player – or at least his agent – is not happy with the situation presently, having recently criticised what the Portuguese club are doing and suggested that Cebolinha could look to move away.

Unsurprisingly, this situation has since been caught by the media, with outlets now suggesting that a host of clubs could be interested in acquiring the Brazilian’s services, including Everton.

Portuguese newspaper A Bola has stated that the Premier League club are said to be interested in the South American, whilst they will need to compete with two behemoths of European football in AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund.

A star of the 2019 Copa America, the winger was always going to have a number of admirers and it would not be a surprise if they were to try and take advantage of the situation whilst also potentially calling upon Allan and Richarlison to help encourage him to turn up at Goodison Park next.

There is no doubt that the Premier League club could do with a player of his services, although whether they will be able to afford him in January will be a question that fans may have to wait and see regarding an answer.
